Does anyone know how to install these oil gauges? I havent bought any yet.

I was going to get the gauge pod that sits below the toggle switches.

 

two options

one is have a shop make an adaptor so that it fits into the oil cooler
two is to tap the top of the oil filter housing, and use teflon tape to ensure no leaks.... i believe my mechanic uses some sealant in there as well, we did it this way, and so far no problems,

one last option also is the madness oil cooler plate, which has two fittings made for gauges... which is what i want now

 

What about electrical connections? Is there some master control unit needed? As far as taping, I think I can tap the oil cooler adapter oplate. The holes for the stock exchanger are oval, and the oil plates holes are round so there is a spot I could drill. Does the oil pressure gauge need any special placing?

 

For oil temp, you can get a lug that replaces the factory oil drain plug. The new plug will allow you to use the temp sensor that comes with the gauge you purchase by threading this sensor into the plug....with teflon tape of course.

This is one I bought and its been working just fine for about 2 weeks. No leaks.
