Passenger Seat Reg?

If I go & register myself for a driver's seat registration & then also register someone else for the passenger seat registration... will the passenger have to have my NAM name on their lanyard badge thingie?

I looked & it seems at thought they will. Just curious before I go register

No. You should be able to insert whatever name you want into the NAM username spot. I did.

Thanks. I didn't go all through the buying process it just looked like it totalled both packages up together & only had one space for a name at the start of the order process

Yes...you can insert anything you want (ideally it would be a username on NAM for the person). That said make sure its unique. If the username you enter is a member on the site you can cause them to "look" like they placed an order for the event (at least in the event planner). Its still your order but it just doesn't show up in the event planner since it uses your NAM username to determine what you've purchased with your username in the store.

Not a big deal...you'll still be able to pick it up. The only issue is that the badge would have your name on it. PM me if you need it changed. Be sure to include your order number along with username, first and last name for the passenger registration.

Thanks

Mark

Maybe I am idiot, but I don't understand...

A new MINI owner, and someone from Hendricks MINI told me about this, so I thought, "Why not..." But I don't understand, do you have to pay to be a part, or attend? (Not the functions, just the ride and hanging out stuff.) I registered as a Dragon Wheels thing on the site, and got a confirmation. Also, is there a schedule? Thanks, and sorry I am an idiot.....

You can certainly walk around, do some drives, etc. without registering. That said a passenger seat is only $5.00, you get some cool stuff, and it helps us to count how many people are attending (which in turn encourages vendors and sponsors of the event). Just getting to Fontana you'll spend more than $5.00 so go crazy and spend $5.00 more

As some of my near & dear friends point out... it's a free country. You can absolutely show up without registering. But as Mark points out, the cheap-o $5 registration (Called "Passenger's Seat," but drivers can use this registration package) at least puts you on the attendees list & gets you a little schwag. The more expensive registration gets you more schwag. (I like schwag, so I cough up for that one, personally.)

As for a schedule, go to the top left of the forum, under "Main Menu." Right now, "2007 MINIs on the Dragon" should be the top-most link. Click there for the MOTD info page. Then, at top left of that page, there's another menu. The 4th link down, "Event Planner," is the schedule, and will also show you which events you have registered for with little check marks to the left of the event entries.

But only if the event is being purchased through the NAM store. MINI Monte Carlo Night is not, so there would not be a check for those that have registered.
