I figured it was time to clean foam filter. When I removed the intake top I noticed the filter was loose. After taking a closer look all three welds to hold the tube were broken and filter just came out?? Any one experience this? The intake is only a year old. In pix "1" you can see the one of the broken welds.

Rossi - call me! I will gladly fix it for you. I have yet to hear of this happening. This is no longer our intake, though it is sold by another vendor. Our proprietary SportBox unit is actually riveted to the box.
