I don't know how I missed this before, but just noticed that the crown spokes have a dustcap over the lugs. I rather like the look of lugs. Does anyone have a picture of what this wheel looks like with the cap removed?

Look for links to some of the spy shots of the Mini Clubman on Motoring file - some of the test cars were caught running crown spokes with the cap off. I think it does not really look finished under there but decide for yourself.
