IF PRICE WAS OF NO CONCERN...

what do you think is the lightest and coolest looking wheel out on the market? I want to buy a wheel that looks great and also relatively light. I think 18s are on the cool side, but I wanna hear your opinions

For me if money were not a factor. The BBS RG-F in 16X7 size at 12.8lbs. But at $421 each. It's not going to happen without a divorce.

If price was of no concern, I'd look at HRE, iForged, DPE, wheels. Or maybe a custom set of BBS LM in 18s (if they weren't bankrupt any more lol). The first three are all forged wheels so they're relatively light (for 18s). PM me if you want wheels I can definitely set you up with any of the wheels I mentioned.

Winner! That's what I was going to add. I'll never own them, and I'm single.

I like these. Don't know if they're the lightest 17s out there, but good enough. At $553 apiece, though, a bit steep on the wallet.

I have got the BBS and I love them. But a pain to clean. If $$$ is no option there are only 3 wheels to consider for weight and performance. HRE, FIKSE, and of course BBS.

SSR makes (made?) some of the lightest wheels around. The GT-2 has always been a favorite, and I finally got my hands on some for my Legacy:

18x8.5", 17 pounds.

I think they're discontinued, but if I could find a set to fit the Mini, I would get 'em.

Very cool indeed I saw those in black and they look nice, but I also like mesh wheels and like the BBS. I will look also for the Iforged as a friend of mine got them for his 650hp Supra they are niceeeeeeee

Haha unfortunately no, I can't. I wish I could cause that would look SICK. I don't believe BBS is taking any custom orders as their bankrupt... I could find out for you though if you would like.

You could always go 5-lug though

They're nice, but they're also played out. Why have wheels that a bunch of other MINI owners have if money is no object.

The point is to do something different, and because money is no object, you can opt for custom wheels like HRE, iForged, DPE, Fikse, Avus, etc.

My wheels were pretty cheap, but they're the EXACT wheels I wanted.

-as of yet, I still haven't seen another car (nevermind just a Mini) with the same wheels...in person anyway, theres a few pictures if you google them

Super Advan 3's are another of my favorites...expensive and almost never seen in 4x100 though

Well, didn't need a divorce (already had one of those) and picked up my RGFs
here on NAM for a bit of a discount - 15X7, 10.6 lbs, and imo absolutely perfect for the Cooper. Love 'em.

As I recall...BBS does (did) make LM's is the 4x100 pattern at one point in time. If I were to get another wheel and money would be no object....I would go with I-Forged, HPE or DPE as stated earlier. Those wheels are so sick! That's what's gonna go on the BMW.

yup they even had LM's specifically FOR the MINI

Its funny that people on NAM STILL buy somewhat cheap wheels with unlimited funds. I would go for some rare schmidts, tramonts.....or even better some nice Image wheels
