Problem fitting front section of beltline tape

I have just fitted the belt line tape i bought from out motoring and all the pieces went on without a fuss ,except the front trim section that sits under the wind shield. The middle part is fine but the left and right corners would not lay down without a few little creases on the top edge due to the tight bend the trim has. You cant realy notice that much but being a perfectionest its bugging me and i wounder if i should have done something differnt when fitting it.I dont have enough left to redo the whole section and so would have to order a complete kit again if theres a way round the problem.I live in the UK so have to have it shipped.
any idears

Well I had the same issue on one side. From my observations it was too cold in my garage and i did not Strecth the tape enough as I made the bend (Apply a little on the bend, then shift the angle, apply, shift the angle etc...). on one side it is perfect and on the other it isn't.

Can someone post pics of this mod, please ? I'd love to see what it looks like.

THANKS !

Edit: Disregard. I went to the Out Motoring website and they have a nice pic posted of this mod. Looks pretty sharp.

Yeh i think the problem then is that its winter over here in the UK and so the temp is a little cold.Guess i should haveheated the tape and trim up a little .Will have to order a complete kit again from out motoring as you dont get enough for mistakes, shame. The rest went well appart from a coulpe of tine very thin chrome bits showing which you would have to sqint to see ,and a black toutch up stick has done that job.
cheers jamie
