Backup Sensors not working

A rather snowy day a couple weeks ago my backup sensors got covered in snow and I neglected to wipe them off before I threw my car into reverse. I got a long beep from the sensor alarm and since then the backup sensors have not worked.

The sensors have long since been cleaned off so I was wondering if it's possible to reset the backup sensor system without taking my car to the dealership. (I live about 80 miles from the nearest dealership)

Thanks.

Sorry that I have no bright ideas for you, but I am very curious to hear the answers you get.

Very odd!

Backup Sensors not working

Have you checked to see if the reverse light is working? If not, check the F 13 fuse rated 5 amps....

Mine blanked out as well due to the snow I think. It was just the fuse. The fuse is a 5 amp located at position 40. It is the last fuse in the box.

Hope that helps...
