Any idea how to remove washer jets cover?

Hi all,

Anyone know how to remove the washer jets cover? How about the front bonnet MINI logo? Just use floss to cut the double sided tape than pull it out? Easy? So that I can stick the bonnet stripes without pre-cutting a hole (if possible)... Any ideas?

Thank you very much

That's a whole washer jet to be removed, not just the cover. It's a single assembly.
They have a plastic latch that clips from under the bonnet.
You need to open the bonnet, and undo the insulation pads fixed to it so that you can see the underside of the jets - then you'll see the clip you need to squeeze, to release the jet from above.

No idea about the logo, maybe a bit of heat to soften, then floss as you suggest.

Jets - Push them towards the windsheild. They will move and bit and then be able to drop into the bonnet so you can install the vinyl.

I usually pop them off when detailing. Just a small screwdriver on top of my finger and slightly under the edge and then pop up!
