i was just on Injens site the other day and i noticed that they have started makeing a very simmaler intake to k&n's i was wondering if anyone had an injen Intake and if they liked it and if anyone has had both......

Thats a very similar air filter to K&N but it does not have a heat sheild. I have a AFE CAI which does have one. Check out this site they sell the kit for $160 or a kit with an extra filter for $195. I just bought a second filter to use while one is getting cleaned.

That looks just like the K&N Typhoon. I wonder how they mount the fuel pump relay...the K&N comes with a bracket for this.

I couldn't find the price. Is it cheaper than the K&N?

I've been very happy with my Typhoon, although this post is reminding me to clean the filter soon...

 

the K&N typhoon is 145$ on ebay new and that includes shipping and the injen is 160$ with out the 15$ shipping and i dunno if its new or not seeing as theres no box pictured and it looks to be a somewhat dirty filter

 

Forget them both if you want your MINI sounding like a real monster without spending alot of mini just take off your stock airbox and replace it with similar air filter that comes in all of the AGS kits, i did mine tonight and i love it.....

 

i had the K&N for a while bit to loud and not much gain much happier with my pipercross x

haha thats how much I was just gonna say id sell mine.. guess I just lost that one I would sell it for 70 and it has about 5k mabye alittle less miles.

 

justintime im still interested in buying your air filter what color is it and is it the short ran typhoon k&n? and you said that you were going to wait a bit if so how long because thats what really hinges on if i can buy it or not. i would buy it right now but, seeing as im going to spend all my $ on my exhaust on friday i will be broke for a bit, but i should have the money in a week to 2 weeks after this friday the 30th. thanks

 

its the red k&n typhoon. well my next paycheck is today but I wont be getting it until monday. thats when I will order my new headers/intake. If I can find all the peices to the stock air filter I could sell it very soon.

 

ok sounds good ummm i should get payed next week and then i will most deffently be able to buy the air filter. how should we complete this transaction?
