i thought i remember reading on here about how the 2003's are prewired for the security system and you can buy the kit from the parts dept. and install it yourself.. i tried searching but didnt find any posts on it. can anyone help me out? my dealership is telling me its $600 to install the factory alarm and theres no way im paying that much again. i would much rather do it myself... for less.. i would assume. can anyone help me out?

 

My January build S had the security system installed for $550 when I picked it up. That was the full price of the unit and the installation...
