I will order soon.
I loved the ones I bought last year even though I didn't make it to the event. I was in Kent on a family matter. I hope I can make it this year, I have it on my schedule. That new License plate looks cute too. Will get to ordering soon, I need to deside if I want 1 or 2.
Bye for now,

Looking forward to your order.
Just tried to PM you, but you have locked PMs out. Is it off the plate or placard, either way, I will send you another one. Drop me a line at info@americanminimates.com and we will take care of it. We haven't had this problem in the three years we have been making placards for various events.

Lady Di, thanks for you order and support. Your 2007 MOTD rallye placard and the soon to be famous JPS MOTD license plate were mailed out yesterday. You should have them by mid week. We hope to see you at The Dragon.

NOTE: If you plan to put the placard on the paint for any length of time, do yourself a favor and:
1. Clean the area well with detailing spray or wash the car - grit trapped under the maget can mar/scratch the clear coat
2. Wax the area well - apply 1-2 coats of a good wax (Detailers Paradise's Epic is a good choice as is Meguiars NTX or Gold Class). Also wax the back surface of the magnet. This is because:
3. Lift the magnet periodically to check for moisture/rain/water trapped beneath the magnet. If you find any, wipe it away with a microfiber cloth. I found out the hard way that untreated (unwaxed) paint will dull if left exposed to water in this manner - MINI paint seems especially "soft" in this respect.
4. Remove the magnet if you plan to do any long-term spirited driving - the bonnet can get quite hot and the magnets ARE just plastic. I've never seen any problems with melting/softening, but better safe than sorry.
Luckily, if you follow the simple procedures above, I can practically guarantee that you should be able to leave the magnet on the car for days or even for the entire trip without damaging your paint. I use small magnetic accents on my doors in the summer, and ever since waxing the surface and the back of the magnet, I've not noticed any paint dulling or marring, even if I leave the magnets on for up to a week.

HP Increase Disclaimer: Our tests have shown that there is no real HP increase form installing a MOTD Rallye Placard, but it may feel like it.
