Just added TSW damper
Just added TSW damper
super high quality product, excellent install instructions. Took their sticker off because I just wanted a blue damper. Also did blue samco hoses that I got from www.myminiparts.com Just adding some spice to my almost 4 year old car
it is from www.promini.com a sub company of BMP Design which is a BMW performance shop..

Love the look. It seems that the TSW attaches differently than LOTF's dampner. The blue hoses look great and give your engine a very finished look. How tough were they to replace - lose alot of fluids doing them?
Oh and where did you get the blue dip stick and oil filler cap?
Sorry for all the questions so early in the morning, caffine buzz you know.

no worries...here's to another early riser Coloradan
1. I drained the fluid out of the radiator before I did them, so no loss of fluid. Problem is, there is no "drain plug" on the radiator that I could find, so I had to pull the lower hose off to get it to drain, and just had the catch bin under the area. just a pain to do with the car on jack stands, would be easier on a lift. Other than that, and the usual hose clamp issues, it was easy, maybe 45 minutes, start to finish.
2. The Blue caps, oil, radiator, steering fluid, and radiator over flow cap, and the blue dip stick were from way back when...from Moss Mini. I don't think anyone sells them anymore, have not seen them for a while.
And yes, the TSW does attach differently than the LOTF...I like how it is more linear to the existing mounts, so the forces are less torsional....plus, I think it is a bit bigger, and more blingy
. We all know the MCs are not that high performance, so I focus a lot on looks.
I am currently doing a full custom interior, side cards, front and rear, steering wheel, shifter bood, dash cover, and finished the gauge face plates....kinda a winter overhaul of the entire car, including dyna mat over the entire interior. My wife is getting a little tired of seeing the car in pieces, which are all over the house right now

I've seen your posts on the new gauge faces - look very nice. I'm with you on the MC - I focus more on bling than the performance.
I'll have to catch you sometime at one of our 5280 meetings or events.
You've done some really nice looking work!
