2007 PDX MINI Makeover, Maintenance and Modification Menagerie!
Saturday, Sunday - February 10th/ 11th 2007

It’s all about performance and appearance!! And we’re not talking about just what’s under the bonnet. This will be an in-depth technical event for your MINI and MINIacs. PDX MINI wants to make sure that all MINIs are successful and safe and that you look good for that first driving event in March.

And for the female MINIacs, our Social Coordinator, Sara, will be on-site as the hands-on beauty technical advisor with fabulous Mary Kay Beauty Products. Enjoy a pampering spa facial treatment in the morning or afternoon — or both!

What:
Saturday 10 Feb… will be dedicated to the modification tasks: pulleys, suspension mods, intakes, exhausts, et al. The Boys from Alta will again be assisting, showing us how to do the modifications, plus offering a 15% discount on parts. Check their website at:

Sunday 11 Feb… will be a continuation of Saturday plus concentration on the lighter processes and a tutorial for those reluctant to perform their own maintenance. Oil changes, checking fluids and pressures, recommended maintenance intervals, and basic "how-to’s" of keeping your MINI healthy. This is an opportunity for those challenged to open the bonnet to get familiar with the working innards.

When:
Saturday and Sunday, 10/11 February 2007. Start time will be about 10:00 AM both days.

The Rockerhousen Estate and MINI Autorama

We are at capacity for the weekend, but we still encourage members to attend, socialize and learn. We will gladly place anyone interested on a waiting list, and should space open up we will notify on a first come – first served basis. Even if you’re coming to hang out a RSVP is required. PLEASE and THANKS!

The usual event fee of $5.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members will apply. Event details and route instructions will be supplied to attendees before the event, and again please contact us if you have questions.

Had a blast guys! GladI could join in on the fun, have some good beef a'roni and even use my skillz and help out installing some tight fitting mods!

No kidding. The cars hafta be clean though. Some folks were lazy and didn't wanna do that.

I suppose some sun would help.
