anybody with a chilli red car with bronze rims?

I am about to pull the trigger on a new set of rims. just trying to decide the right color.

I really like the look of the Sports Bronze or maybe bronze. I am just looking for anyone with input of bronze rims on a chilli red car.

i went through all 31 pages of the chili red club and found only silver, white, black and chrome rims.

thanks ahead for any help

I saw a CR/CR MCS the other weekend with gold wheels. It looked really sharp. With your white roof, I think the lighter "bronze" wheels might look better than the "sports bronze".

I am deciding to risk the possibe clashing colors.

sports bronze just seems like the right color. and if they dont look right they are only my autox/track wheels.

I have those rims in black for the track - had I planned on using them on the street, I would have opted for the steel grey or flat gun metallic. Prolly flat gun metallic at the end of the day...

My personal feedback on bronze rims on a CR/W car is that I wouldn't like it at all, but it's not my car. Why not be a trend setter!?

bronze on a cr/w car is something i have never seen. and i should take that as a warning. but its just something i want to see.

i would have gone with steel grey or flat gun as well. but these will just be my performance shoes so if they dont look so hot i will learn to love them for autox days only.

ps. black rims on a cr/b are a great look by the way

+1. I think I saw the same car. It's a plus if you are a San Francisco 49er fan (because that's what I thought of immediately).

CR/Blk = Blk rims. I got my rims with the machine polished lip because i kept my chrome. Make sure you check the Tire Rack and compare prices. They took good care of me.

Polly has ASA AR2 rim which are metallic on the outside and anthracite on the inside. Pictures are in my gallery.

Is this the one you were thinking of?

Owner told me he had the wheels powder coated.

I think I'm a more "inside the box" sort of guy with these colors - those bronze wheels on the cr/cr looks odd to me.

The sport bronze finish looks like some rusty old wheels you might find at a junkyard. MBE they would look better in person but I don't like them at all in the pic I prefer black, silver, or gunmetal

Oilpan replaced. It was a pinhole crack (that's why so much oil was still inside). Thank goodness for road hazard insurance.

They look too WRX to me, but I'm Mr. OEM, so don't go by my opinion.

There's a CR/W with bronze wheels in the SCMC. I don't have any pics available right now. I'll contact the owner and ask him if he has any online I can link to.
It does look sharp though. The car will be at AMVIV if you can wait that long.

I don't think it would look good with a CR/B, but a CR/W might not be too bad but then again I'm really biased to the roof color matching the wheels.

just an update to those of you who helped me with your opinions.

i called a bunch of places and found out that rota has been pretty much out of stock of the sliptreams for an unknown amount of time.

i managed to get a set of FLAT BLACK from 18racing.com that they will be recieving next week. i settled on black because i need them as soon as possible to be ready for march.

thanks for all of your opinions!
