Phone wallpaper from MINI.com

Anybody got the phone wallpaper from mini.com? I Really want the logo wallpaper.

http://www.mini.com/com/en/ringtones...ogos/index.jsp

I tried it last night but since this morning, I didn't get anything on my phone. I think I entered my phone number correctly in international format: +10111*******. BTW, my provider is Cingular and I have a Moto Razr v3.

I couldn't get it to work that way either. I opened it and saved it on my computer, then sent it to my phone from my computer. I got several of them that way. I REALLY wish I could get the Turn Your Mobile one.

Over the years since MINI has been overing this feature, the problem I have noticed is that if you do not have a NOkia phone it will not work. Same goes for the ring tone. The carrier in most cases is not the issue, it is the brand of phone. Just my two cents.

Here's the MINI logo wallpaper properly sized for the RAZR V3. I made it from the wallpaper on the MINI site and was able to load it on my Cingular RAZR V3 using the Bluetooth file transfer on my MacBook.

As much as I hate to admit it, I am ignorant when it comes to sending things to my phone from my computer.

How do you do it? Computer is a Dell Precision M90. Phone is a T Mobile Razr V3.

I just took a picture (with my phone) of the logo on the front of my car and saved it as my wallpaper. Took me a few tries to get it lined up perfectly with the "Cingular" thing and whatnot, but now I have a MINI logo with an EB background.

To those who got the wallpaper via Bluetooth, did you use a device like this?

Not sure for T Mobile since I have Cingular. With Cingular, you can go to the website and there is an "Image Composer" you can use to upload images from your computer and have them sent to your phone.

Have you tried to email the picture from your computer to your phone?

OK, I finally got the wallpaper! I have a photobucket.com account and it lets me send pics to my phone. But before sending the pic, photobucket lets you do a little editing. I tried the first wallpaper a NAM user posted. But for some reason, the pic was too small. I was afraid if I enlarged it, it would come out choppy. So I tried the second one. It pretty much fit inside the frame photobucket laid out. Very minimal manipulation. There was a $0.99 charge to have the pic sent to your phone. Looks pretty good. A little grainy though. I don't know if it was the size of the original pic or the resolution of the v3's screen. I have the "Cingular" logo with the date offset to the upper left and the time offset to the lower right so they won't block the MINI logo.

Mishka: I found the Image Composer page on Cingular's website. From the look of it, it looks exactly like the photobuck.com page. But the fee was $1.99 . Thanks for all your help .

I think I'm gonna get the Bluetooth adapter. I have tons of photos saved up in my phone that I want to upload into my computer.

Try this site for sending ringers and images to your phone... Its mainly for sprint users but works with your phones "email" address usernumber@provider.com

and its free..
http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php

I have the ringer saved as a wav file was going to convert to mp3 but my silly Katana only plays midis so I am trying to get it converted... anyone with connections willing to share?

International code

International Code from outside the US is 001 (xxx) xxx-xxxx. 00 is the Int'l IDD, 1 is the USA country code then Area code bla... bla... bla...

I'm not an operator or anything in that sort. This is the way I call home when in Asia and in the UK.

011 is IDD out of the USA to other countries.

International format is easy to remember

+ for international

1 for USA (country code)

999-999-9999 for your number

so just enter

+15555555555

Its everything that you would dial plus the + sign if you where out of your area code.....

My LG Chocolate had a MINI wallpaper on it when I got it - a red Cooper S w/ areo kit, rear shot... I have no idea how to get that image off, though to share it.
