Cravenspeed CAI
The Craven Speed Cold Air Intake will come standard with a Polycarbonate "see through" top so you can check the condition of your filter at a glance.
Our CAI is totally enclosed. Unlike some designs that allow hot ambient engine air to pour in from the bottom and top, ours is covered top, bottom, and sides.
We are now taking orders for 2/7 shipment. price is $277.95 and includes the filter, hose clamps, box top, and totally enclosed airbox for better performance and less hot air.

Update on the Cravenspeed CAI;
Ready to ship on 2/7/07
The Cravenspeed Cold air intake is superior to other CAIs in the following ways:
1) Enclosed on the top, sides and bottom isolating the intake from ambient under hood(HOT) temperatures.
2) The polycarbonate cover is included in the price of the intake. Others charge extra for this vital component. You can check at a glance the cleanliness of your filter element.
3) The air charge is taken from the cowl vents, insuring a cold, dense charge.
4) 2-3/4" knockout port for future ram air vent. We looked ahead so we can add value to this unit without just giving it a fancy paint job.
5) Our air box is made of brushed stainless steel for good looks and corrosion resistance.
6) Our filter element is made to our design by UNI-Filter. Arguably the best filter on the market. 30% longer than the competition, it actually pokes through into the cowl area to suck up outside air.

Our hungry filter element pokes into the cowl area where the air is cold and
dense.
I want to thank you for your patience while we made sure this one was right. We could have rushed it on to the market for Christmas, but we won't put out a design that is only half way to great.
