GOOD carwash in Milwaukee/Racine?
GOOD carwash in Milwaukee/Racine?
Hey gang....
I moved up here from Indiana in September. Now that it is cold, I can't wash the car at home. Is there a good, safe, drive-through car wash in the area? So far all I've used are the next - to - useless spraywashes at the gas station....and those don't even hardly get the salt off.
In Indiana, we had a place called Mike's Express. To date, Mike's has been the only car wash that actually touches the car that I've trusted. I need something like that, but up here!

I have only handwashed my MINI, but I guess that if I had to, I would take it over to Wash Brite on ~72nd & North Avenue in Wauwatosa/Milwaukee (I take my other vehicles there over the winter months).
They do a nice job, but the only downside is that you have to exit your car - they then vacuum the inside and drive it into the building/conveyor line. You can watch the entire operation from behind windows in the building if you wish.
The drying bay is inside the building, so if you get there on a day that they are not so crowded, they tend to take a little more care in completely drying the car / cleaning the windows, etc. I think it's ~ $11 for the standard wash/dry - throw in another dollar or two for wheel/tire hand cleaning.
