Hi everyone! I hope that 2007 has been good to you so far!

Our first club event of the year, the Palos Verdes Tour, is coming up in just a couple of days.

This years run will incorporate our usual run around sinuous roads and beautiful homes of the Palos Verdes Peninsula...with a few new twists! This years roadmaster will be none other than our club Prez, Boris Tilim.

As you may know, The Annual Palos Verdes Tour is one of our more popular club events. You won't want to miss this one!

We will be meeting at the backside of the Ports O Call parking lot in SAN PEDRO at 8:30 a.m. We will be departing at 9:00 a.m. SHARP. So don't be late.

This sounds like a fun way to go see some Minis and sme MINIs I will ask the SO, and see if we can meet up with ya.

I would just like to add a little side note. MOALA, you guys/girls helped me get my MINI, and you didn't even know it. Last january, I was on my way to the SouthBay MINI, to plop down a good chunk of my $$ on my soon to be delivered MCS. This was a HUGE amount of $$ to me, and I was nervous to say the least in parting ways with it. Well, to calm down, I took a little drive around the Palos Verdes peninsula, by way of San Pedro, to get over to SB MINI.

So, there we are tooling down Western, or something and we see this long line if Minis and MINIs. My g/f and I look @ eachother, we follow them. And lo-and-behold they are turning into the Wayfarers chapel, and joining a whole big group of other Minis and MINIs. WOW!! At that precise moment, I found new confidence in my decision to purchase my MCS. The nervousness and anxiety all went away when I saw, what i now know, was the 2006 MOALA Palos Verdes Tour-De-Force.

Thanks to all of you MOALA members on that trip. All of you together helped to solidify my decision to purchase my MINI, and without you I might not be here on NAM writing about that moment today.

xbook. I seem to remember talking to someone at the chapel last year. Maybe it was you I talked with? That's a cool story! Turning heads is part of the fun of owning a MINI/Mini!

Unfortunately for me, my Mini isn't running at the moment. So I'll be codriving our club Prez's orange Moke.
