Was it you?!
I was at the top of Loveland Pass yesterday (Sunday) when an awesome dark silver MINI motored by and honked. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to absorb ALL the details. I got a couple MINI details (MCS, sunroof, not sure if it had a black top or was all dark silver). Oops, I was so busy checking out the MINI that I only got a quick glance at the driver - Sorry!

Owen - Was it you?! If so, HI!

I drove up to go snowboarding at A-Basin -but watch out - It was SUPER crowded and nowhere to even park a tiny MINI without having to walk miles. So instead I went back up to hike and ride the pass. It was beautiful. A bit windy at the top, but I fully enjoyed avoiding the masses.

SO, whoever you are, hope you had a wonderful time up there as well! Aahhh Colorado - hiking, rollerblading, & watching baseball one day, playing in the snow the next!

hmm... i think there ought to be a missed encounters forum on MCO, just like in the personal ads...

"i saw you last week, outside of the bar... beautiful liquid yellow skin, a dark top, and a cute boot, too!"

I think that's a great idea!!! I have a lot of sightings, but I don't want to clog up the board with Fluff, and then it gets lost in all the postings.

What do you guys think?

Lolo

As long as we're talking sightings, I'm wondering who has such good taste in color that they have a BRG Cooper S with a matched top like mine. This was seen outside the Ralph Schomp Mini 4/29/03. Looked like 17" wheels and had a standard Colorado plate. Not sure about a sunroof.

I definitely would have noticed a checkerboard pattern and I definitely was not in the neighborhood on the 25th. I do find myself down in the Mini dealer territory often, though. I like to frequent Colorado Car Books (just a couple of blocks north of Littleton Blvd. on Broadway, west side). My father and I have gotten to know the owner fairly well over the years.

Wow!!! Over a month later and I finally check out the message board. I guess I should pay more attention.

I think it was me up there.
