Well unfortunately it has been discovered that Silver Coin is not open on Mondays Maybe we can plan on doing a Tuesday for our next dinner in March.

We are now going to Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse to eat at one of the Hibachi (spelling?) tables where they cook right in front of you. Should be a hoot
They are located at 620 Olde Towne Road in Vestavia. Phone 822-4646.

From I-65 take exit 255. Go North on Hwy 31 about 1/2 a mile. They are on the right side of Hwy 31 but not visible from the road. You turn right at the Vestavia Bowling Alley. Ichiban is in a strip mall behind the bowling alley right next door to Chuck E Cheese. So if you go inside & there are screaming, manic kids running around everywhere you have missed the entrance by one door to the right

If anybody feels like they will arrive a little bit late tonight please post here so we can hold a seat for you. It is a Monday so I doubt they will be very busy but I do know that they will sit strangers at the hibachi table with groups to fill up the seats. A table seats 10. If anyone thinks they will be late post here so we can hold a seat for you on the off chance that they try to fill our table up with strangers

 

Has arrived back at the Homestead Is so tired of seeing snow, glad to be back in alabama, but I probably wont make it to the meet and eat tonite. So those of you who do go, make some pics and email them to me for the photo gallery. A chance I do get to come, it will be good to see smilling faces with sharp looking cars. Either way you all have FUN.

 

What time is "late"? I want to go, but will need to run through Irondale to let my boys relieve themselves. I can do that and head to Vestavia (leaving home 5:45) for 6:10 ish arrival.

 

We normally sit down, get a table, & get started around 6PM(ish). We will be sure & hold you a seat Louis

I haven't been online lately due to not being able to sit at the computer. I fell last week and got bruised up pretty bad, I'll spare yall the pics. I was standing on a chair when my sock slid and all came crashing down. I have 5 very bad bruises and 3 bruised ribs. It nice to be off the couch for a change but I can't drive just yet. Thats the hardest part.

Had a lot of fun tonight & yumyumyum the food was excellent. Looking forward to next month & hopefully we can plan a ride for March when it warms up a bit.
