This is classic. I work for myself out of my house but occassionally work out of the office of one of my clients in an open, cubicle ridden office layout. One of my client's clients walked into the office and says in normal volume voice (which, in an office that only has cubes, carries across the entire office) "Who's ***** extender is that out in the parking lot?". Well, it had to be my MINI S that he was referring to as all the other cars in the parking lot were American sedans. The people that were walking the client into the office said "he sits right over there". I don't think the client realized that I was within an ear shot. I should have stood up and said, "Hey, if the child seat in the back seat of my car qualifies it as a ***** extender, then I'm guilty." but I just sat in my cube and shook my head in disbelief. Good thing that the employee that owns the Viper doesn't work there anymore. Geez. Apparently, the little MINI is threatening to some.

 

I don't understand how a friendly little car like a MINI can bring this side out in people. What's up with that?
