If anyone has any experience with the Falken fk452 tires yet, please share. I'm looking at those, the General Exclaim UHP...maybe... , and the Yokohama Parada Spec-2.

Also, anyone have any input on Vulcan Tire Sales? I know about Tire Rack and their great rep, but they don't carry Falkens.

I just put a set of Fk452 on my mini last weeks, so not had a lot of driving on them yet. However, first impression are very good.

I have been running on the FK451 (the predecessor to fk452) on my E55 AMG for over 25k miles and are holding very well. Road noise is low to minimal, I've noticed the same on the mini in the few miles I've put on them. Wet traction is excellent and I don't hesitate taking a hard corners on a wet road. There is a sharp S turn on my way to work and I constantly take it pretty fast just to test how much I can push the car and have not had any squeeling/slippage. As for wear, I've run on them for over 25k miles, never rotated them (not because don't want to... but because they're unidirectional and I have staggered offsets on the car) and I still have another 8K left on them.

I would probably rate the tires (fk451) a solid 8 out of 10.
