My Mini rebuild

Here is what she looked like before I pulled her apart: (more pics at site linked in image)

She has her front end off right now, the motor is mostly out (I will need a car lift to finish with the shift linkage).

I hope to have more pics and details added as things firm up, but the original plan is as follows:

Long Ratio Final Drive Gear Set
Honda B16 Type R ( I think)
Fully Adjustable Rear Suspension Package
Wide Wheel Fender Flares
Limited Slip Differential ( if not included in the engine)
Mini Tec Superbrake Kit
Flip front
Fully adjustable front end alignment
More details and pictures to follow.

Here is the place that I will keep the most updated, as it is the forum that the person doing the work posts.
I will bring the info over here as regularly as I can.

And tires

Order has been placed for all the parts minus the LSD and final drive gearset.

The motor is still being hunted for, so we may end up changing which one we use. Who knows.

On which company did you decide? Fla or Ga?

Don't trash up the lines with flares. If you want wider tires/wheels, use a negative offset wheel and install "wiggle" springs to get the extra internal clearance.

There is no "wiggling" 13" wheels. It's flares or silly looking wheels sticking out. My 12" wheels rubbed enough and I have no intention of that happening again, not in Florida. Wheel rubs metal bare, metal rusts, and that is bad.

I like the wider flares look, I had the widest that looked good with 12' wheels before, so it's not a big change for me.

Please keep NAM posted with progess.

I'm really curious to see your test times once you get the Wee back...data like that interests the heck out of me. Will you test the 1/4 mile?
