I can't help with the local availability but I have something the looks exactly like the BIG PELA 650 (from the link you listed) at Griot's Garage (mail order firm). They work pretty good but I eventually shifted back to doing my oil changes the old-school way. If you are going to do oil changes for your car on it, you need at least the 650 size.

Thanks DaKineMini. If you ever want to part with your extractor, I am more than happy to take it out of your hand for reasonable $$.

ghui,

Do you need to borrow it? Check it out and see if you really like them. My plastic t-handle broke but it still works fine. Let me know and you can borrow it any time.

Many thanks!!! But I already bought one, and will be here about a week or so. I will see if it is worth the $$. Anybody wants to borrow it afterwards is fine with me.

I've been using one on my 04 VW TDI New Beetle and it really worked slick. Haven't used it on my Cooper but I will be trying it our at the next oil change. Anyone try it out?

Not sure about the Pela one but my Griots one had like three extraction hoses so one of them fit perfectly.
