Exhaust leak or not?

I have had my '02 MCS for about 2 years now and this has never happened until about a month ago: When my car sits idling with the heater on I get a strong smell of carbon monoxide coming from the air vents even without any other cars around me. It doesn't smell at all while moving with the heater on. I also didn't notice it this past summer when the A/C was on.

I have a Miltek exhaust + OBX header but they have been on for thousands of miles without the smell. I also recently changed out my micro filter but I can't imagine that has anything to do with it. And I don't hear any type of exhaust leak.

Any suggestions or ideas? I drive in a snowy climate and my car is lowered... maybe the exhaust is melting the snow and the steam is... well, I don't know

HELP!

Good point. We'll call it a strong unburnt fuel smell that doesn't go away even after the car heats up.

I just bought a used MCS on Friday. I've noticed the same thing while sitting still in traffic, or at a stoplight.

Is this a problem with the Coopers? Is it something that should be covered under warranty?

What cat are you using? It could have gone bad, that will definitely give you the smell you are smelling...

I just found that I have a leaks somewhere near my GRS IC which is causing oil to leak onto my engine/exhaust which causes the smell.
