I have seen a few people post on here that are in or near Monroe, N.C. who have Minis. I was wondering how many of us there are. I drive a BRG MC with checkered mirrors and roof and live within 10 miles of Monroe. Just curious, thought it might be fun to get local minis together.

 

I also live near Monroe, actually in the Weddington area. I drive a dark silver convertible S.

I have seen a number of MINIs around the Monroe area too...

 

I'm in Monroe right outside of Wingate

 

I live in Mineral Springs, five miles outside of Monroe, and drive a hyper blue convertible.

 

I live in indian trail. I drive a yellow and black mini with a wooden roof rack on it. My front tags say NATE432!!!!!

 

I go to Wingate, so I am in Monroe all the time, I drive Black/white cooper

 

We should have a Monroe meet and great. That would be a fun thing for us all to do. I was just wanting to post this and see who would all be interested. I will be thinking of some place to meet or if you guys want to do this come up with some places to do something. I am always up for a hang out with MINI friends LOL.

 

It would be fun to get all the local minis together. I'll see what ideas I can come up with and we'll try to make it happen.

 

It wouldbe fun to eat somewhere, and if there is any good motoring nearby, go have some fun on that

 

I am always open for a drive and eat. I have been really busy with school so i have not gone to any of the events. I would liek to do something onthe weekends if anyone is interested. How about some place like applebees or soemthing like to eat? Sometime i would liek to travel to the mount's and take some cool pictures. I have been taking a ptoto class ins chool and woudl love to use my new learned skills. LOL

Lets plan on a date where we can just hang out and chat it up and show off our mini's to each other and eat soem GOOD FOOD!!!!!!!!

I grew up in Monroe, but live in Geenville, SC; but when my family visits Mom, we usually come in one of our two Mini's. We always look for a reason to visit family, so I would be interested in any get togethers ya'll might plan.

 

You guys should try to get together at some of the weekly cruise-ins in the Monroe area. As a member of the local Mustang Club we have 3 WEEKLY listed in our newsletter (all Wednesday nites) ... Burger King Indian Trail, Buffalo Rest Indian Trail and CiCi's Pizza- Monroe. Monthly there are Downtown Monroe (1st Fri), or Cruise the Boulevard (3rd Wed). I have not been to any yet but I'm working on it. Bill.

 

WA2EDN what time do you guys get together? Also, can you let us know where you'll be on which nights, date wise? I think it would be great to put the minis and the mustangs together. BTW the cruise in downtown usually starts around the first of April I think. The owners of The Substantial Deli in downtown Monroe either head the thing up or know lots about if you're looking for info on it.
