1) Anyone here purchase extended warranty?
I received a letter from Patrick Mini stating that the warranty on my wife's 03 mini is expiring in January of next year. How much do these things run? are there different packages? what is the shortest length?

2) We are expecting our first child (YIPEE!) and need a bigger vehicle. How much would be fair asking price (posting on Autotrader) for her car?

1, not yet, have in the past with other cars, and plan too with my MINI, if I don't trade her for a younger MINI down the road. But dont tell her that.

2, research and don't limit yourself to the local market, try ebay, I've sold a dozen cars there, shipped all over the US. Don't let the dealer flip you over for a "trade-in" price.

3, just buy a 2nd MINI for your wife and new baby, thats a WIN WIN!
