Hey all, was at a dealership 6 or 8 weeks ago looking for the new colors for 2007; all they had was one pamphlet to show what they 07 colors looked like. Next to useless!

My question, - are actual examples of the 07 cabrios in your local dealerships yet so we may gaze upon them in lust and envy? If not, when? Thanks much!

 

Haven't you heard? Due to new quality control measures the MCSC will be offered ONLY in Pepper White.

I wouldn't count on seeing too many cabrios at your local dealer. I've dropped by my MINI dealer quite a few times and at most they only had two cabrios on the lot. But seeing a color on the car is definately different than looking at a brochure or the build-it-yourself on the MINIUSA site. It may be a while but the MINI dealer should display the paint tiles for all available colors in their showroom. That's as close to the real thing as you'll get.

 

That stalling tactic is what made me decide to find a previously owned MINI. I was frustrated that MINI was not releasing the details of the Cabrios until the last minute. So I opted to go the way of choosing an expired color. I couldn't be happier. Ebay works!!

 

Ah, Ebay, the money you have earneded for me *think Ralph Wiggum* Still...prolly going for the Chili Red - tho to give pw its due, it does look good. Wonder if anyone has ordered an 07 Cabrio? Like to take delivery end of March (my vacation) then just motor on South...
