New cabrio family w/ service history question

Well, we've joined the MC club! After a patient watch for the right MCS we ended up with an 05 MCSC w/ 20K! (pics attached). Electric Blue/Blue/Blue, Chrono, Premium, Sports, parking control, etc.... We're thrilled and now have a 95 BMW M3 & 05 MSCS in our car corral. This forum is great! I've read a ton of the posts and learned lots already. One question - how can I find out what warranty or maintenance work has been performed on the car? Does Mini keep a nationwide database of dealer service?
Cheers!

P.S. Very happy with our purchase experience from Luxury Imports of Orlando, we paid well below NADA trade-in value (helps to buy at end of month and end of year too) and Mike and Leslie were super!

Congrats and welcome! The car looks beautiful (but it is hyper blue not electric blue ).

MINI should have service records available. Plus, with only 20K on the car you have 28K left on warranty which should give you peace of mind.

Again, welcome and enjoy the car.

Welcome... just ask your MINI dealer, they will be able to locate that through the VIN number of the vehicle..... enjoy !

Thanks for your replies and corrected information; I was pleased I only got one thing wrong w/ my posting. I called the mini dealer in Orlando and emailed askminiUSA.com and both said Mini does not have a nationwide record keeping system for warranty or dealer service work (only local dealer records). That's hard to believe. I'll see what I find out when I take it in for service. Maybe I can find the South FL dealer that has serviced this MCSC, as it was a lease for it's first year of ownership.
Cheers

I don't know if it would work, but perhaps with the VIN# you can discover to which dealership it was initially delivered. That might be the place to start. Good luck!

Congratulations on the cabrio! And if you're in FL definitely check out Sunshineminis! They're a very cool group of MINI and Mini enthusiasts, and they have a very active Orlando group.

Good luck with the history check - someone at one of the SFL dealers might recognize the car.

I love the color choice too -

In a similar situation, I also bought used, and my first stop was at my MINI dealership. They were able to check the history and found that it had been serviced at the other MINI dealership in the Dallas area. So using the VIN, any dealer should be able to look it up for you. We got a bit more history than we were hoping for, but since we are experienced MINI owners, I'm not too worried.

I couldn't agree more about timing!! We got a great deal too!!
