I'm planning to be in Scotland via London in late July and Early August 2003.
Just wanted to know how to rent a mini (any mini) to drive around for the fun on it. I contacted Hertz through AAA but no minis are available in the UK for rental- What? How can that be? :evil:

Got any ideas how to do it or any contacts? Let me know.

I got an international driver's license and I already drive on the wrong side of the road (when I am on the track of course)

 

I have heard of some people renting MINIs in London. Someone on roadfly said they rented one over there. Also check with the people over on MINI2.com. I think I saw someone over there mention it.

That sounds like a great trip! driving a MINI in Scotland! I am so jealous!

I did not rent a Mini, But I was very happy with the service. Also do a search for european auto rental and see what comes up. That is how I found this Company.

In fact none of the sizes listed the cooper- I looked through everything- luxury- premium-other
I did find the beetle under other and the Smart City coupe (two seats only) under mini
