JCW GP Intercooler question

I have a JCW kit already on my car, but am wondering if anyone has bought and installed the Intercooler that comes on the GP car, and if so, what the results have been.

Can't yet... the parts are on lockdown, requiring a GP VIN (and in some cases, photo proof of the damaged ones from a GP!) in order to place the order. The hope is that in a year or two that regular MCS users will be able to order and install some of the GP parts, but there are no guarantees of that ever happening.

P.S. If you do manage to somehow get one, let me know how you did it... I would love to make this (and a few other) GP mod to my JCW MCS.

There is one on ebay right now. I don't know how legit it is, however, and the seller is overseas.

You can probaby get one of the aftermarket IC's that are every bit as good as the GP's.

Actually I was the winning bidder on the e-bay sale and this seller, besides having a 100% rating, has listed about a half dozen of these GP ICs over the past month, and seems to be legit., so when I get it, I am going to post what I find out, ie if it's legit. etc.

It would be interesting to find out if it is a genuine BMW/MINI part, or some aftermarket doodad designed for the GP.
