VacuCam Ordering this Week!!

Good News, I'm very excited to announce that I will have about 50 camera systems ready for shipping this week. 50 systems = 50 single camera system. If someone orders a 2 or 3 camera system, that means I have 47 or 48 available systems.

Check out the NAM store, the normal VacuCams are available now!

I know it's been a long wait since I've had them in stock, but financial and personal reasons as well as R&D time was needed to recover from several setbacks along the way. Although I'm known for my polishing out the paint of MINIs, I'm still just as passionate about these cameras that I've developed. Each camera goes through more than 40 steps to ensure that the quality is something that makes myself happy. This involves sitting down and plugging each camera in and making sure the picture quality meets my standards, as well as ensuring that each component is defect free, before custom modifications can begin which includes drilling, grinding, cutting, sanding, and gluing, before assembly, packaging, printing, and shipping...all done by yours truly---although now I do have a helper which is making things a lot less stressful.

VacuCams can be mounted in a variety of positions

Deluxe Kits are in limited supply primarily due to the Switcher. This was one of the components that was discontinued and I haven't found a suitable replacement for, so once my inventory of approx. 20 units are sold, that will be the end of the Deluxe Kits until I can source a replacement, and I've been actively searching since last May after the Dragon.

Regarding the 50 systems, I'm still building them as I type, but please place your orders, and they will go out in the order received. Please allows 2 to 3 days after your order for me to ship your system--which will arrive by FedEx Ground. If anyone would like faster shipping, please PM me and I will provide a quote on how much extra that will be.

I also have a VERY LIMITED number of VacuCam Pro single camera systems available. I'd like to see how the demand goes before committing to a larger investment. These are true CCD based instead of CMOS based cameras. They provide a much higher quality image with a sensitivity and response time similar to that of your camcorder. So changes to exposure, color, focus, are all handled instantaneously. Plus they are housed in a waterproof metal casing for durability with a replaceable protective lens shield. The mounting ring is custom machined from aluminum. For all these benefits they are larger than the normal VacuCams, and they do come with a higher price tag, so they aren't for everyone. I'm also currently testing out a version with "night vision" capability. Stay tuned for another announcement when these are made available in the store this week.

Also the VacuCam Tow Hook mounts will be available--these are the same ones that were given as prizes for the Photo Contest for the past 6 months. They turned out to be a lot more expensive than I anticipated to manufacture. The mounts consists of two plates, a 1/4-20 threaded rod, and a ****. You supply the OEM tow hook. Each piece is hand machined out of Delrin and fits any of the OEM MINI Tow Hooks, and you can use it with any small camera that will fit on a 1/4-20 thread like the VacuCam 1B or the VacuCam Pro.

The VacuCam Pro TH camera can be mounted in a variety of positions depending on desired POV.

The VacuCam Mini's are also still available. They only come with the ball mounted camera, and these are primarily used for less conspicuous mounting on interior surfaces.
