Well, I just got back from vacation, and got to wash the car for the first time since she hit a plastic traffic barrier, and got to see the full damage. Wasnt just the plastic fender trim like I had hoped. Nope, I have about a two foot crease down the door, and the chrome peeled off the bottom of the door handle. My only hope is that I can get away with a paintless dent repair service.

 

That sucks, I hope you get it fixed soon!

I had a wreck where the door had a scratch on it at the front and it morphed into a 1" deep crease at the rear of the door. I let the body shop put on a door skin and they did a MISERABLE job. I hope you have better results with your repair.

Unfortunately, you may need to just bite the bullet and buy a new door. Most repairs to doors wind up looking like a dog's @$$ sewed up with a grape vine.
