airbox holes

has anybody modified their airbox by drilling holes in it? the cowl modification (cooper s airbox) seems not to apply to us.

FWIW, there is no reason to drill holes in a stock Cooper Air Box.......the Cooper S Air Box is situated towards the firewall and position so that IF you were to drill hole in the box, it would increase the air flow due to the the fact that the cowls are almost right above the box.........so with that said....there is no reason to do this with a cooper.....

I was wondering about modifying the stock box as well, but in terms in making the stock holes larger and perhaps a small cone filter just to see what would happen.
