Swap Lower Rear Bumper Trim? MCS for MC

The MCS has exhaust that exits via a notch in the center of the black plastic trim on the bottom of the rear bumper. Does anyone know if you can swap this black plastic piece for one from a Cooper? (side exit)

I'd like to run a single exhaust that exits in that area on our MCS. But I don't want to swap the entire bumper, just that lower piece. If they are inner changeable, I'll order the part.

Thanks in advance!

Hahaha! I like it too! But the super lightweight muffler I just purchased (used) doesn't fit that way.

(sigh) the things us racers do to save weight.

It is definitely possible. One of the mods for Coopers is to install S bumpers while retaining the side exhaust. You need to get the black trim pieces (not only the center piece for the exhaust but also the two side pieces) for a 2001-2004 Cooper. The Cooper bumper was updated for 2005 and the current black trim pieces are no longer compatible with the S bumper.
