i picked it up on 10/30/06. can't think of a name yet.



having black bonnet stripes put on this week end. what do you guys think? i'm not much into mods.

So you say you're not into mods. That's what I thought...about 2 months and 2 grand or so ago.

 

Drive it as much as possible until you think of a name, then.....drive it as much as possible. As if I had to tell you that.

 

My Silver Bean is DS/B and I wasn't sure about the bonnet stripes, but decided to go with them. I've been happy, though I think it would look great either way.

Your call on the stripes, black will certainly look terrific. Still, it's a beauty already.

As for the "no bonnet stripes" crowd, I say this:

On one hand, I see a beautiful MINI. It's one of the classic colors and I'm very fond of PW. On the other hand, I see a blank canvas with unlimited possibilities to make it more unique and even more gorgeous. Plain black bonnet stripes would keep the classic look while dressing it up just a bit.

Take a look at my Gallery if you want to see a PW/B MC with black bonnet stripes to help determine if you like that look. Those stripes we have are the black with white pinstripes.

 

Clean the wheels very well, then wax to help make cleaning easier.
