Halfmoon Auto Grand Opening! Ohio

Hello everyone. HMA is having a Grand Opening party on SATURDAY, Nov. 18th.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...35#post1206235

We wish to see a whole bunch of people there, so come out! If weather permits, there will be a Dyno running all day. We are still working out the details on the time, food, etc. All cars are welcome! R-Style is the shop, which has the dyno and lifts, etc. equipment, so if you need something installed, stop by!

I hope to see lots of people there, so if you are around the Cinci area, please come out. I will be dyno'ing my MINI that day since the addition to my M7 16% pulley.

Location:
421 Wards Corner Rd. Loveland, OH.

**For further questions, please PM me, e-mail HMA or myself at: silenceisdeadly @ cinci.rr.com or IM at : got polizei.

I may stop by if I am home. These out of town road trips are killing me. I may just put the DEMON on the dyno.

Ralph, I fully expect you to be there and dyno the Demon! MGCMan, it's a LOT of fun to dyno your car, I had a blast. I'm not sure on dyno prices, but I can find out. Last time I did mine it was $50/3 pulls, but if there's interest, I can find out exactly.

And Ken, I don't know why it's called Halfmoon Auto, that is what the owner picked.

Sweet, can't wait. Did you send Justin any pictures of your MINI? He put up a customer ride's section on the website.

Rick, I'd love to see you come down! But note that they have just a little fan for their dyno, not a giant one like I've seen in other places.

Ralph, Do you have any pics of the old graphic before you took it off? Hopefully you'll have the new one on by the Grand Opening!

Here's the dyno. That little grey fan is what they use, so if you have a better one, by all means please bring it!

Bump. I'm still working out details with the owner, and awaiting his word. I'll update this again when I recieve that information.

Please stop by if you can! Just to give you an idea (price CAN change) the normal dyno rate is $35 Setup and $10/pull. Dyno Day prices are $50 for setup and 3 pulls. I'm hoping R-Style will agree to have a dyno day (weather and consent permitting) so hopefully the prices will be the dyno day prices. Look forward to further information soon.

Bump! This saturday November 18th!

-The event will start at 10:00am, and there will be some sort of food/drink provide. I'm not sure if we'll have a BBQ or what, mostly probably just chips, etc. snack foods.

-Weather permitting, there will be a dyno running! $50 for setup and 3 pulls, which is a killer deal!

-There will not be a Grand Opening Sale, mainly because HMA already has low prices, and most of the items are already ~10% off from anyone else.

We hope to see you all out there! Supporting Halfmoon Auto and R-Style. Also, if you need anything installed, stop by!

I hope to see you all there. You can't miss me, I'm short, 17, and skinny. My MINI is Indi Blue with a dark tint, can't miss it! It also has HMA stickers on it.

Thanks!
-Cody

Hey guys!

Well, we finally have internet at the new location!!! Thanks for all the help cody! Hopefully this year HMA will get its own project MINI to work on!!! We'll see how things work out. I think the Cincinnati SCCA club will be there, could be a ton of people? The dyno takes about 40 mins. per car. If you want to get a few pulls get there early!!

See you on Saturday

Justin

Hey guys! Thanks Justin!

As for the dyno, Justin was kind enough to shoot my MINI while on it's first dyno run, and you can see it here:
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...79012b7b64.htm

Believe me, anyone that has been near a dyno run will tell you that's its much louder in person, and is just amazing!

And for the record, I pulled 141 at the wheels with my stock MINI. I'll be re-dynoing it on Saturday with the addition of my M7 16% pulley and ALTA CAI if it arrives in time.

I hope to see you all out there!

Update: I got a flat last night. So I won't be able to dyno...(don't have money anyway...I was expecting my paycheck to be a little more) and now I have to pay for this. CRAP! Anyway, I'll still make it down saturday!

See you all there!

Well, I got my tire fixed (there was an air leak between the rim and tire) however I did not dyno my MINI do to funds.

I want to thank everyone that showed up, as well as HMA and R-Style! The event was a BLAST! with some very nice cars.

Draggonmann pulled 187whp and MGCMAN pulled 176whp.

Please check out HMA for upcoming video's of the day's dyno. Ralph's and my video are already up there, but more should be up by mid-week.
