Buying the MINI, Help

At the MINI lot can you pay less then the MSRP?

I've been looking at personal owners that are selling their MINI, they are alittle cheaper that way. What do you guys think about buying from a person instead of a lot?

Generally, if you can purchase a MINI at MSRP, that is the best you can do when buying new from a dealership. A few people have managed to get maybe $500-1000 off the sticker, or some extra goodies, but MSRP is considered fair since the MINI is a limited production vehicle. The current platform is being replaced for 2007, so you may find a few deals on some lots. I don't think there will be any deal-making for the new ones, though.

As long as a MINI has been well-cared for and has fairly low miles, and still has some of the warranty left, I would say buying used is fine.

Good luck!

Less than MSRP is highly unlikely. If you're on the left coast, you can expect to pay over sticker for sure. On the other hand, your resale value is the strongest of ANY vehicle out there, including Porsche, BMW and other premium car lines. Enjoy the ride, and Motor Responsibly

I bought my MC on eBay. Had 36,000 miles on it. 2004, retailed for 26,000. Paid 16,500. Its been great.

Ebay? Wow, bravery. How did you do that? Did you get to see it first or how did that work?

If you get any discounts on a new MINI, you are doing good...MINIs are in such demand the dealers don't have to give a discount to sell them...

I paid MSRP for my 06 back in April and was more than happy with the price and with the 6 month wait time. I figured that was more than excellent on the west coast.
