Finally...

Well, after a long extensive research, reading and snooping around NAM I have placed my order for (M7-Super Ceramic Qouted Black DFIC, M7-Oil Catch Can, M7-Air Gain System, M7-180 Thermostat, M7-2% Crank Pulley)

Can't wait to have them join the engine bay . Also, I have ordered a M7-Aero Splitter and M7-Air Plate Diverter to inhance the air flow and look of CA$PER .

Want to thank Steve and Brad (Custom Mini Shop) for their help, superb service and patience and not to forget I want to also thank Peter and Randy (M7) for the initial help. I wanted to get the DDM CAI, but the AGS sound kept me up at night (had to get it)

I will Dyno the car before the install and after and hope for the best. What do you guys think my next mods should be?

My High performance driving school days are just starting. I think after driving a Ferrari 360 around BAHRAIN FORMULA ONE I think it's about time to try to go over there with the Mini to try it out. I know there is a big difference between the 360 and the mini , but people always get amazed on the track of some cars

on another case, our dealership is so kind that they have organized an event to go to the track and have a field day with BMW F3 (for selected customers only) I hope I can free sometime to go over and burn some serious F3 rubber

Being in such a hot climate, I'd look into a better radiator as a next mod. Maybe an oil cooler as well.

I was thinking about that, even though the MINI performs well in the heat with no problem, but I need to find an OC that will fit with the Air Plate Diverter. I still have time as winter season just started.

I think I need another cooler for my head as the sun is blasting through the sun roof... feels like it's cooking my brains in July

I am very sure he is, and the choices were made after looking at some excellent setups here on NAM... one of first that caught my eyes was your MINI which has a very aggressive racing look and an appealing engine bay I congratulate you on that awesome work

Getting them Installed

Finally, I am getting the parts installed and should finish on Sunday. I decided to paint the Aero kit all body color so that's why it will take a bit longer

Maybe you should start by cleaning your engine bay. That is dirty!

I couldn't fathom trying to put brand new shiny parts into that!!!

don't worry, already in the cleaning process. We had a very dusty weather two months ago and this is what you get in the desert climate .

it will all be nice and shiny once completed ... that's why I have the picture records

I thought the M62 kit is not out yet!! as for the rims and tires I will get the Hamann motorsport PG4 18" wheels and will get some 12lb 15" racing wheels for track days. Headers, I am still waiting for one set to come out soon before I decide. Do you think there will be a big difference if I get a new head or just settle and get the cam? the flywheel is a must I think and was looking at M7.

thanks Johan

You won't be disappointed in the mods you chose from M7. The guys at M7 are for real, and the parts and service are second to none.
Brad and Steve at CMS are also top notch, and are always there to help.

BTW, do you live in Kuwait? or are you "at work"?
