M7 Strut Tower Brace in an '03

I've ordered an M7 strut tower brace for my '03 MCS (Sept. '02 build) and am wondering if there are any '03 owners out there who have done the same and can tell me if I'll likely be facing hood bulge as later models have. If so, did the soak and slam method work, or was cutting the insulation necessary? Thanks for any feedback you can offer.

I put mine on and did not have a problem with an 03.

I also installed the M7 STB on my 03 MCS with no modifications needed. No bilging.

None here either, even though I have a 2002.
