My 2003 is almost out of warranty

I bought my 2003 MCS a week ago today. It has 43,700 miles on it. Should I schedule an appointment with my mini dealer before 50,000 miles? I live in central Ky and the nearest dealer is 3 hours away in nashville. Would it be beneficial or just a wasted trip if I'm not having any problems.Thanx for any imput.

I think the answer is obvious. What would you ask them to look at if you have no problems?

I probably worded that bad. My friend who has an 06 told me something about updating my computer and that it wouldn't be a bad idea to take it there. I'm new at this. I love the car but I'm still nervous about the nearest dealer part of it. I contempated long and hard because of this and finally did it. My friend told me don't drive one unless you're gonna buy it. He was right.
