Scheduled for production

My MCS is now scheduled for production, my question is how long should it take before shipping? Can't wait to get this car.

For someone in wait I think the best answer is not soon enough.

(I took mine from stock but I'm sure someone who knows will stop in soon enough, just wanted to say Hi and welcome to NAM)

Well, it took mine 4 days from order till it started production. It took a week in production. It took two weeks to get scheduled for a ship. Can't help past that because it has not actually gotten on a ship yet. Once on it should take two weeks to get to the U.S. if you are on the west coast add an additional week to get through the Panama Canal. Once it gets to the U.S. port expect upto another week for delivery to your dealer. Now if you ordered a bunch of options chances are many of them will be installed by the dealer. Expect up to another week once recieved.

Hope this does not scare you. It is much easier to just go about daily life as if you never bought the car and then one day poof!!! surprise you have a great new car.

I am doing this the hard way and trying to follow every detail including Satalite tracking of the ship it is supposed to go on.

My order went in just as they were retooling the plant for 2007, so that may have delayed the process. It was about 4 1/2 weeks from order date to the date it was on the dock.
