Italian Job Turbo Roller Coaster

Hey all,

Heres a link to a pretty new "Mini" roller coaster at Kings Dominion in Virginia.

http://www1.paramountparks.com/kingsdominion/index.cfm

I thought it was pretty cool,

Gilman.

Is it going to be the same one as the first one, the one that's at Paramount King's island? It's 15min from my house and has been out for a while....but I still have not gone.

From the cool coloring, to the vanity license plates, these MINIs are as detailed as the ones found at the dealer.

Hmmm... is there a Malibu Stacy car? Why can't Six Flags build one out here.

Yep, they opened that ride earlier this year. It was actually one of the daytime stops along the main MINI Takes The States route. I didn't go as part of MTTS (I took the "alternate" route), but I rode it a few weeks beforehand.

It's a fun ride, although not as intense and exciting as some of the more extreme coasters. It's quite family friendly though (within reason). I think the park rated their "top" coasters with a number 4, and this one rated as 3.

Well I will find out tomorrow as I am going there.

I have been on both the one at Kings Island in Cincinnati and the one at Kings Dominion in Virginia. They are indeed the same ride. It is a very fun ride, a bit too short though.

There are three locations with this ride, the third being the Paramount park outside of Toronto, Ontario which like the Cincinnati park, added the ride in 2005...the Virginia park adding it in 2006.
