Punctured run flat fixed FREE!

The other day our flat tire warning light came on when we pulled out of the driveway in the morning. Sure enough, one of our Dunlop 9000s registered zero psi, despite appearing almost normal. I called around and nobody wanted to fix it until I called the local Goodyear dealer (this was the one on Old Dominion Road in Mclean, VA). They said to bring it in and that it would cost $45 if they could fix it, so I dropped it off. Today when I picked it up there was NO CHARGE. They told me that since Goodyear owns Dunlop that the repair was covered under the warranty. If the tire had not been repairable they would have sold me a replacement at a prorated price.

I thought I'd post this since it seems to be one happy story compared to the many unhappy posts about run flats. So, if you have a problem with one, try your local Goodyear dealer first!

thats good info to know. I have the Goodyear Runflats myself and so far no problems at all and they have performed very well for me. Hope I never have to have one repaired.
