R50/53 Check this funny story out
Personally, I'm keeping my Ford Explorer. Two cars means less miles on each one (I drive 170 miles round trip to work every day). Plus, I'm sure the explorer will do better on ice and snow than the mini, not to mention the desire to avoid salt on it as long as possible.
>>My parents who drive a Ford Expedition just called and asked if they could borrower my Mini Me to go take a Saturday drive tomorrow! The SUV backlash starts now!!!

Well, they just got back from their drive and they LOVED the car! Granted they still like their expedition (plus I don't think the mini will work for 5 people all going to tail gate at the Jaguar games) but they loved the car, and this coming from my mother who has had Fiat Spiders, MG Midgets, Triumph Stags and a Miata in her life time.
SUV's are not the problem, people who commute in them are.
1 Ford Explorer + 170 mile commute = Environmental Disaster
I also doubt that 5000 lbs tank barreling across a patch of ice or snow will handle better than a Mini.
But wait there's more, if you act NOW, you get an inherently unstable vehicle that comes apart on impact. CALL NOW! and we'll throw another one in for free.
