Howdy again,

Just wanted to start a different thread in regard to the get together on 10/28. I thought Frankies on 70 would be fun, but suggestions would be great! We can map out what we would like this chapter to accomplish in the next year. Thanks a ton for your help!

Does it sound acceptable to everyone to begin the festivities at 1? As soon as we get a tally of the headcount, I will contact Frankies to find out if we can display our cars prominantly (sp?) and schedule a reservation at their restaurant.

This is just an event to get to know others in the area, you do not have to be a "member" to have fun!

Basically, if you get off of 540 at 70 (NW side of Raleigh), head toward Durham and take left onto TW Alexander Drive, it is right on the right. Almost a stones throw away from the shops right off of 70 (Briarcreek, I think).

Sounds like it will be fun, but I'm already obliged to go to a costume party that night.

Sorry I've been so quite lately...I was off the grid: my router took a dump on me, and I just got it replaced today.

 

Unfortunately I already have other plans for that afternoon so I can't make it.

Put me down as a maybe. I should know more as we get closer, but my brother-in-law helped me do a ton of work (including putting up a fence) around our new house a few months back and I promised to help him when he moved. Well, they moved in a month ago and he is getting ready to do his fence and it looks like he will be doing it on the weekend of 10/28. However, with him, plans can change on a dime so don;t count me all teh way out.

 

LeeL, No problem work awhile and bring him with you for lunch?!?!?! Just a suggestion? Luke

Thanks Keith...keep me informed on the RallyX's (if that is a word), we might be able to incorporate something into that. I have always been interested in attending one!
