hit a wandering water jug

I was motoring home last night when one of those 10 gal. orange water jugs came rolling into the middle of the road. I only had room to move so far and it hit the front wheel arch. The jug hit hard enough to knock my arch reflector off and unclip the black arch piece but didn't take it completely off. I think I can just move it up and clip it back into place. But I'll need a new reflector strip. The plastic piece behind the reflector piece was dangling but seemed to still be attached to the wire.

Luckily, the damage is minimal but it P* me off that a person didn't secure all their gear and their crap came flying off their truck to potentially endanger a person (and their precious Mini!)

Guess it's time for a visit to the dealer for a free car wash.

That sucks, do you have any information on the truck?

No. It is a somewhat dark road that people travel fast on. Which is why I was taking that road in the first place! So who knows where the truck was.

That's terrible. A dealer car wash? wink:

j/k, hope you get it fixed soon and cheap.
