First of all thanks to all that participated and helped in the Raffle. Our final take was $407.00 after paying for the car we were left with a total of $335.00. Since this was such a small amount someone suggested that we give it all to Charity.
We had a complaint from one member on this suggestion and after checking it out, found out that we had assigned 75% to Club and 25% to Charity. I apoligize for not catching this sooner. This meant the Club would take in $251.25 and Charity would get $83.75.
Since the Charity donation was so small, myself, George K., Charlotte VP Chris D, New Treasurer Joe. t. and Mini Car Raffle winner Rachelle all chipped and we will send a check to charity for $203.75 on behalf of our Club and Club gets it $251.25
Sorry for the mis-understanding and apoligize for not catching it sooner but we have it straight now and hope everyone is satisfied.
