Any bad gas lately?

Got gas this morning on the way to an appointment. By the time I got to the parking lot, the MINI was running rough like it was missing on at least one cyl. the SES light was on, the DSC light was on and it had no power. Got it flat bedded to Century. They said that it had misfired and was in limp mode. They changed the crank angle sensor. As I was leaving the dealer it happened again at the first traffic light. Made a U turn and got them to check again. Donnie thinks it may be bad gas but is checking other posibilities.

Just wondering if anybody else in the upstate is having similar probs.

No worries just north of the border.

No but it can cause the computor to go sideways. May have to replace it all, I did but never knew if bad gas was the cause?

I've only had the error of putting "plus" grade fuel in the tank, with disappointing performance and less than normal economy. Won't make that mistake again!!

It was the gas that caused the problems. From what they found when the tank was emptied, the bad gas was an on going thing and that Friday was more of a tipping point.
