Well, I did it!!!!!!

Well, I did it!!!!!! I bought the Mini. And thanks to all those that helped me thru my decision - I know I was a pain on Friday! Anyways, here's the specs:

2006 MCC = Chili Red with black leatherette interior
premium pkg
sport pkg
cold weather pkg
red interior trim
ipod connector

I got it for $500 below MSRP and they threw in the floor mats and ipod connector installed for free. I also purchased the car care thingy where they treat the seats and and exterior. There is no waxing required. I talked them down about $150 on that (from his starting price). So I feel like I got a pretty good deal. I decided to lease the vehicle for 36 months. I've never leased before, so I will be interesting.

I have to say I am thrilled!!!!!!! I definitely made the right decision! The car is a blast to drive! It may not be a speed demon, but is it NO slouch! It's beautiful (I'll post a pic once I figure out how) and the heated seats get very HOT - which is good thing! I highly recommend the ipod connector as well. There are so many little features that I didn't even know existed on the car. It really has a lot of features for the money.

OK - I need to go look at my car again!! Happy motoring!

Since you like the convertible, $500 under MSRP is about as good as it gets. Have FUN.

Very nice...I have tough guard on my car inside and out that makes the inside stain resistant and the outside wax free....Works great on my PW/B....so nice to chamis down and ready to motor!

Congratulations! I'm glad you got the new one... warranty, relationship with the dealer, etc. All good. You're going to love it, I'm sure. Can't wait to see pics!
